Thanks for letting me help coach your camp last week. I had a great time and learned more about goalies, drills, and everything that goes into goalie training this past week than I had my whole life prior. I know my knowledge about goalies was slim to begin the camp, but I appreciate you letting me coach at your camp. Really liked the way you ran everything on the ice and kept all kids involved+learning+developing throughout the week. I’m extremely impressed! Hi Coach Des! Hope all is well! Just want to let you know Luke had a great time at camp this past summer. This was his first time doing the boarding. He was a little nervous going into it, but ended up loving it and enjoyed the extra time to get to know the players and coaches. He improved so much from the camp. A huge thanks to you and your staff - you are all amazing. The best in the biz! Luke's hockey season is off to a great start. He made the PeeWee AA team for Eden Prairie, and they took 2nd place in the Big Pumpkin Tournament in Rochester. They won a sudden death shoot-out against Stillwater to go to the Championship. Luke played awesome - it was very intense! Just signed him up for the holiday camp in December. He is looking forward to it! Hope you have a great Thanksgiving!
My son Danny had been to many goaltender camps, and didn't find one he liked until he met Des. We've been with Des and his camps, and wouldn't go anywhere else. Des challenges the goalies to get better, and encourages them at the same time. He's great on both the technical and the mental aspects of being a goaltender. We're happy we've spent so much time with Des and would recommend his camps to any goaltender that wants to improve.
